BLEACH DOUBLE DISC I have only recently been introduced to Bleach, and I love it instantly. Apart from the great drawings and story lines, the opening and ending themes are also VERY WONDERFUL, along with its accompanying video clips.
In this double disc edition, you'll find opening and closing themes up to episodes 98 (at least I've seen up to that episode, and all the songs are there).
For the DVD :-
You will see the "clean" version of the video clips. By "clean" I mean you won't see the casting list etc which normally appears on the closing themes. Note however, some of the opening thems still contain song titles and such.
My favourite clips have GOT to be Asterisk, Thank you!!, Hanabi (GOD the men looked SO SEXY in Purple yummm), and MOVIN!! (So cute to see Kon always being chased by Ririn, Cluade and Nova).
For the CD :-
You will find the LONGER version of the songs, as opposed to a 1 or 2 minute compression for the sake of the opening/ending themes. I have been so used to listening to the short versions of the opening and ending themes, it was rather odd to hear the longer version, but it's still just as nice. If you still prefer the short versions - the DVD's there for you.
Note that There's a CD "Bleach Soundtrack Volume 1" that has the two songs "Asterisk" and "Thank you!!" in the SHORT opening versions as opposed to longer ones.
The songs are REALLY wonderful, from the rock genre of Ichirin no Hana, and Hanabi (TOTALLY AWESOME vocals) to the soft rap of Thank you!! (the translation reveals a wonderful song showing appreciation) and the funny toe tapping MOVIN!!!
Well worth the money. I love just listening to the music, and ALSO watching the clips. I am totally blown away by the EFFORT put in by the BLEACH PRODUCTION GROUP. SO MUCH effort is put in to not only create a wonderful addictive world unto its own, but also to create such wonderful songs and craft specific videoclips for each song. TRULY - THEIR EFFORT and DEDICATION is UNRIVALED.
