The PlayStation2™ Console Cinnabar Red (SCPH-90006CR) is a new and slimer PlayStation2™ model. Due to internal structure improvements, the volume of the machine has been reduced by 75% and the weight been optimized to approx. 900g only.
The PlayStation2 Console Cinnabar Red includes a built-in network connector (100BASE-TX/10BASE-T) but no longer features harddrive support. Also due to design and technical changes, previous Multitap as well as Vertical Stand models are no longer suitable for this model.
Besides from this, the updated PlayStation2™ still plays back all PlayStation2™ and PlayStation2™ games (Japanese region encoded titles only) as well as DVD movies (Region 3 NTSC only!).
