The S-Video cable offers a much brigther and clearer picture quality compared to standard AV leads. It is compatible with Japanese and American Gamecubes only. Please note that the cable cannot be used with the PAL Game Cube sold in Europe, Australia or other PAL countries due to the missing S-Video support. Further it cannot be used for the Panasonic Q due to the non available plug. The Q requires a standard S-Video to S-Video cable.

    Doesn't work with PAL N64s.
    After i bought it i discovered that PAL N64s can't output S-video. I think it should be written in the product description.

    S-AV/AV
    Im using the old tv with composite and s-video input. The S-video makes the graphic much sharper than the normal composite. Really recommend this product if you dont have component/HDMI input on your tv.

    i bit better
    i have get this cable for my snes and is compitable with all there consoles eccept the nes.
    i have test it with the xgabox and supported tv trough scart.
    well i must say it,s a bit better than the a/v cable no more noise on screen ennymore, this is a must have cable
