description
Since the debut of The Legend of Zelda in 1987, all of Link's games have been the stuff of legends -- universally appealing adventures that emerged as beloved triumphs of gameplay, presentation, innovation, graphics and fun. In the ninth entry in the series, Link debuts on GCN with a fun new look, but the game is still serious about adventure.

The series' classic mix of sword-swinging action, perplexing puzzles and stirring story lines remains intact while the new cel-shaded graphics enable the characters of Link's world to be the most lively and expressive personalities gamers have ever seen. Emotions hit a fever pitch when Link witnesses his sister being snatched up by a giant bird. Embarking on an epic voyage to locate his sister, Link unravels a mystery that deftly blends unique, stylized graphics and effects with the much-heralded mechanics of the gaming milestone, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Link its your birthday, Happy Birthday Link ink!
Before i write this review the game is completly in Japanese, but is not extensively text based, you may if you are lucky be able to navigate the game with a game guide, should you in the future be able to locate a source for the wind waker in english and this is your only viable choice

Now, this is based long in the future, after the events of Ocarina of time, i assume Link the young link went back in time, and this is his timeline? correct me if im wrong, but the world is now a half dozen floaty islands, because you know who is back, bigger, badder, and more evil then ever.

You, a descendant of the legendary hero link, live on an island, with your grandma, sister and i think a few other islanders, i wasnt paying attention to detail, it strikes me as odd how they had a house on a small island in the middle of oceans, but this is a videogame, what more can you do?

So, just to give people a vague idea of the first few moments of the game, you start off on a colorful cell shaded island, with your sister, she says its your birthday, and you end up going home to get your clothes etc, and meeting her again to get your present, equiping your present and some stuff happens, just follow the flow and look around a bit talk to a few people go home a few times if stuck and a major event should happen

Anyway one of the biggest sources of enjoyment to me in zelda games is the music, this game does not disapoint, its catchy, fun, light hearted and playable

the graphics are cell shaded, beautiful to the eye and just amazing

    battle system is instantly playable

Story is okay you have dungeons :), easy as they are Hahah..

i know i am spoiling and being mean when i say this but 70 percent i would guess through the game you have to gather a ton of tri force piece fragments from the ocean, be prepared to shake your fist in anger at Nintendo for subjecting you to I AM SAAAAAAAAILLLLING experience for hours finding them.

oh and did i say you have to SAAAAAAAAIIIIIIL?

    good
interesting approach by nintendo but not the greatest zelda game. It is still good but totally shy of the greatness of ocarina of time. I say its better than mujura's mask by a slight margin.

    good...
this is a very good game, but not the best game of Zelda series... some time too easy, also suitable for the new zelda player.
the graphics is nice, and the controller setting is very good...

A very good play of GameCube!
The Legend Of Zelda The Wind Waker is only the plays having obtained 20/20! Its realization in cell-shading returns really well! This play is a true chief of work!

    Must have!
If you are not a zelda fan, this game will make you become one!
If you never liked cel-shaded graphics, this game is gonna impress you!
You will experience action, adventure, puzzle solving, fighting, and most of all, treasure hunting and sea adventure!
